Day two of AFWL had designers such as Vou Brown Collective , that took the catwalk in the evening shows that wowed the audience. With an exciting show that got everyone on their feet , the Vou Brown Collective an independent multi-brand located in Central London showcased a show that bought together emerging and established labels. The bright contemporary designs wowed the audience as well as the models dancing and strutting down the runway.Steve Many also took to the runway that evening as he painted on one of the models as his designs were showcased down the runway. The designer began painting on clothing in 2006 since then he’s won several awards including an award at Johannesburg Fashion week in 2010.
Sluu by Sluvin Designs is a label by a South African designer Slugile Mokoena who had a very contemporary line with hit of Africa in her designs. The designer’s vibrant colour choice of bright oranges , yellows and reds made her designs stand out on the runway. Crown Rose our first and only swimsuit brand showcased on the runway in the afternoon with outstanding designs that bought a new meaning to swimwear. Meg Alabi and her elegant Alabi Couture label took to the runway in simplistic but eye-catching evening gowns made for those special occasions.
