On the 1st November 2014 AFWL opens it’s African inspired designer clothing concession in the Red Dress store in the iconic Plaza on Oxford Street.
With 15 designers and over 200 designs of limited quantity this is one store opening not to be missed!
The AFWL concession will be a London-based fashion and lifestyle concession that stocks clothing, fashion accessories using vibrant African prints and tribal prints to bringing wonderful colour into people’s wardrobes.
As Europe’s largest event for African and African inspired fashion Africa Fashion Week London is thrilled to offer designers the opportunity to showcase their designs in the heart of London’s shopping district. AFWL is a celebration of African design talent and the diverse ethnic influences that contribute to fashion in the UK. It aims to promote new and emerging designers that are inspired by the rich culture of Africa and incorporate this heritage into contemporary design.
Open from the 1st November, each week will see a new guest designer from designers who showcased at AFWL 4th Show in August 2014. The initiative is aimed at supporting the high street entrepreneurs of the future; offering brands the opportunity to sell their products in the space with other brands.
