Terms & Conditions
1. General
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all attendees, participants, exhibitors, photographers, models, and vendors attending any Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) events.
1.2 By purchasing a ticket, participating, or working at AFWL, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Tickets & Entry
2.1 All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person.
2.2 AFWL reserves the right to refuse entry to any person for security, safety, or other reasons deemed necessary by the event organizers.
2.3 All attendees must comply with venue rules and regulations.
3. Event Photography & Media Usage
3.1 By attending AFWL, all visitors, participants, exhibitors, and vendors grant AFWL the right to use their image, likeness, and any video or photographs taken at the event for marketing, promotional, and media purposes without compensation.
3.2 Photographers and videographers covering AFWL agree to share copies of their images with AFWL for promotional and archival purposes. AFWL reserves the right to use these images in marketing materials, social media, and press releases.
3.3 Unauthorized commercial photography, videography, or live streaming without prior approval from AFWL is strictly prohibited.
4. Models Hired by AFWL
4.1 Models hired for AFWL events agree that their image, likeness, and any footage or photography taken during the event may be used by AFWL for promotional, marketing, and editorial purposes without additional compensation.
4.2 Models are expected to arrive on time, follow instructions from designers and event coordinators, and conduct themselves professionally throughout the event.
4.3 AFWL is not responsible for any personal belongings lost or stolen during the event.
4.4 Any concerns regarding payment, working conditions, or scheduling must be raised with AFWL management prior to the event.
5. Exhibitors & Vendors
5.1 Exhibitors and vendors are responsible for their own merchandise, displays, and financial transactions. AFWL is not liable for any losses, damages, or theft.
5.2 All exhibitors must comply with venue safety regulations and must not obstruct walkways or emergency exits.
6. Code of Conduct
6.1 AFWL promotes an inclusive and respectful environment. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated, and offenders may be removed from the event without a refund.
6.2 Attendees must respect the rights of designers, exhibitors, and fellow guests, including following any dress code or seating arrangements as instructed by AFWL staff.
7. Liability & Indemnity
7.1 AFWL is not responsible for personal injury, lost or stolen items, or any damages incurred during the event.
7.2 Attendees, participants, and hired personnel take part at their own risk and agree to indemnify AFWL against any claims arising from their attendance or participation.
8. Changes & Cancellations
8.1 AFWL reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, lineup, or venue as necessary.
8.2 In the unlikely event of cancellation, ticket holders will be informed, and refund policies (if applicable) will be communicated.
