The Adopted Culture fashion line is tailored with a contemporary ethnic fusion to make it even more unique. The collection is designed for today’s woman, the modern woman, to bring out the best of your shape and your style, ranging from bridal evening wear to casual funky wear. It caters to different styles and, well, the women of today. Founded by model Afua Antwi, a naturally fashion forward person, she manages to infuse her passion with her inspiration of different shapes, colours and textures to create what is known as Adopted Culture.
Adopted Culture is the first label to be selected among high street fashion labels to be part of Vogue Fashion Night Out in 8th Sept 2011 sponsored by VOGUE MAGAZINE and is also a BEFFTA Award nominee for best Female Designer of the Year!
Their latest collection SS/13 ‘The Kente Vibe’ is “designed with 100% original kente fabric which celebrates rich fabric of the garment and quality background”. Returning to showcase at AFWL this year, we’re sure they’ll impress again with their varied bespoke range.
