Africa Fashion Week London, Europe’s largest event for African fashion, is proud to announce that The Africa Channel will be official broadcast media partner for AFWL 2014..
The Africa Channel is an international network inspired by Africa, providing a breadth of programming that covers fashion and beauty (Designing Africa, Face of Africa) news, current affairs, documentaries (Africa Business Weekly, Mandela, Ghana Black Gold), entertainment (Mary Mary, Cooking with Siba, Nigerian Idol), music (Soundcheck at Momo’s), drama (Jacob’s Cross, Scandal, Tinsel), comedy (Desmond’s) and films (The Athlete, Sinking Sands, Heart of Fire).
The Africa Channel is available to viewers across the UK and Ireland on Sky channel 209 and Virgin Media channel 828 – recent programmes are a variety of acquired and wholly owned material with a focus on history and culture, with a range of genres currently in development. Alongside The Africa Channel, the network also creates its own content through The Africa Channel Productions, ensuring a constant stream of high quality entertainment and informative programmes.
